How To Join

To be eligible for election to membership in this association, and to continue to hold membership, a lawyer must: (a) be a member in good standing of the Tennessee Bar; (b) be engaged in litigation, primarily for the defense either in private practice or as a corporate defense counsel engaged in the trial of civil lawsuits; and (c) have manifested a genuine interest in, or sympathy with, the purposes of this association

Any two members of the TDLA may nominate any eligible lawyer for membership by submitting his or her name and qualifications in writing to the secretary/treasurer, who shall refer such nominations to the Board of Directors.
